This Privacy Policy explains how Reveal ("Reveal", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you visit revealcam.app or join our waiting list. It applies to visitors and subscribers located anywhere, and is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
By submitting your email address through our sign-up form, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect the following categories of personal data:

We do not collect names, phone numbers, postal addresses, payment details or account credentials. Reveal is not yet available as a product; we hold no photographs, user accounts or application data.
We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate this website and our mailing list, acting as processors on our instructions:

We may also disclose personal data where required to do so by law or in response to a valid request from a public authority.
Kit is established in the United States. Your email address is therefore transferred outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are carried out under the safeguards permitted by Chapter V of the GDPR, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

This website does not use cookies.
Our analytics provider, Umami, operates without cookies and does not collect personal data. It does not track visitors across websites, does not create persistent identifiers, and cannot be used to identify individual users. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is required.
We retain your email address until you request its deletion, or until the waiting list is closed and the project concludes, whichever occurs first. Analytics data is aggregated and retained for a maximum of twelve months.
If Reveal does not proceed, the mailing list will be deleted and subscribers notified.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond within one month, as required by Article 12(3) of the GDPR. Every email we send also includes a one-click unsubscribe link, which removes you from the list immediately.
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. In Portugal, this is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to the mailing list is restricted and protected by multi-factor authentication.
No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This website is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
